There are so many great reasons why you should start a blog! Lets chat about the one everyone wants to know- money. Can you earn money blogging? Yes! The best part about making money from your blog is, if you want to stay home, be your own boss, and make your own schedule…YOU CAN!

Another great reason to start a blog is to express your views, share your passions, and connect with others who feel the same. The internet is a huge place but the connectivity to someone who “gets it” is unmatched.
You can blog about ANYTHING! It can be very general or focus on one aspect of your life (motherhood, fashion, gardening, reading, etc)
Reasons Why You Should Start a Blog
1. Blogging Tells Your Story!
What better way to keep moments, memories, and photos of your life than on a blog?! You can write about that first birthday party and look back on it at a later time. Tell the story of how you and your significant other met so you can reread it over and over. It gives you a space to write your thoughts and remember things from the past.
2. You Connect with Others
Sometimes it can be hard to connect with others who don’t understand blogging or what you want to do. There are like-minded people out there in the blogging world that you can connect with. I have met some of best friends through the internet.

3. You Spend Your Time Doing What You Love
Not only do I get to spend more time with my family, I can work from anywhere with WiFi (sometimes that isn’t my house…haha.) I work for myself and make my own hours. This means I don’t have to miss things because of work.
4. Earn Some Money!
This should probably be reason number one. Who doesn’t want to earn money from home? On their own schedule? Blogging has made it possible for me, and it can for you too! I have worked very hard on my blog and it has provided a flexible schedule so that I can stay at home and still contribute financially to the home.
Don’t let anyone try and tell you blogging is an easy, get rich quick thing (its not, and nothing worth having usually is). It takes A LOT of work, but I still believe it is one of the BEST businesses a stay-at-home-mom or student (or anyone!) can start because of the LOW startup cost and unlimited potential. It really is a wide-open option with unlimited possibilities!
