30A is undoubtedly one of our favorite places to vacation in Florida. Each town has a unique flair that makes it somewhere you would love – or not love – to stay with your family. That means the restaurants also are all different, featuring unique dishes and different vibes.

Trust me, there is no shortage of amazing restaurants and cafes in 30A; you will never have to worry about not finding a great place to eat.

1. Amici 30A Italian Kitchen

Typically referred to as Amici 30A, this Italian restaurant features authentic Neapolitan pizza pies made in their pizza oven, so it has that beloved crispy, brick-oven crust. Amici sources their ingredients from local sources, and this restaurant is truly family-friendly, serving all sorts of filling recipes. They offer small dishes and ones that may be shared with families.

Make sure to head over there between 3:00 and 6:00 PM, so you can grab all those favorite dishes like pasta, beer, and cocktails.

2. Stinky’s Fish Camp

The restaurant may have a silly name, but they aren’t messing around when it comes to their seafood dishes. Stinky’s features some of the most creative, Cajun-inspired, seafood dishes you’ll ever fin. Some of the highest rated dishes are the buffalo shrimp and crawfish pie.

On the weekend, Stinky’s features the Bluegrass Brunch, where you can eat until you are full. It’s hard not to love their down-home, family-friendly atmosphere paired with food that makes you fall head over heels.

If you want a heartier breakfast, grab one of their breakfast sandwiches. You can eat on the go or grab a seat the bar. The original location is in Grayton Beach, but they opened other locations at Sandestin and Seaside.

5. Grayton Beer Brewpub

I love a good burger and beer, especially after a long day on the beach. Grayson Beer Brewpub serves a large menu of craft bars from IPAs to amber ales. You might be surprised by the beers they offer for everyone.

This Brewpub has what I call an elevated bar menu, featuring wings, burgers, and nachos. You’ll also find some seafood dishes that are worth trying. It’s the type of restaurant you go to for some delicious yet simple meals that won’t break the bank.

6. Great Southern Cafe

One of the best places to eat in 30A is the Great Southern Cafe. Their grits and balsamic salmon dish – The Grits a Ya Ya – receives top ratings from visitors, and they have a large menu with plenty of options. Another favorite is their pecan crusted catch of the day – typically grouper – and fries.

It’s divine, and make sure you don[t miss the classic southern dishes like fried green tomatoes and collard greens.

This is an informal restaurant with food served out of an Airstream trailer on the beach. It’s a great place to bring your family if you need a quick sandwich or snack, especially since it plays on a childhood favorite meal.

I suggest the French Onion is my Jam sandwich. This grilled cheese is made with French onion jam, cream cheese dip, and Swiss Gruyere cheese served on thick sourdough bread.

9. Bud and Alley’s

Bud and Alley’s is an awesome beachfront restaurant and bar, known for casual yet delicious dining since 1986. It overlooks the Gulf of Mexico, and you’ll find seafood dishes paired with Southern cuisine. Culinary versatility is the name of the game here, so not only do they have standard dishes, but you’ll also find a pizza bar and taco bar.

Enjoy your dinner and drinks while overlooking the water; always pair their dishes with one of their speciality dishes.

Shades serves a wide range of beer, and you can enjoy your drink while watching the over 15 TVs hung throughout the restaurant. So, if you’re looking for a great place to get a bite to eat while watching your favorite team, Shade’s is the place to be.

However, that also means they tend to have long waits during peak season since it’s a pretty kid-friendly restaurant overall.

Cafe 30A is known for casual fine-dining restaurant, featuring grilled and roasted seafood meats, poultry, oven baked pizza, and desserts that make your knees weak. They change their menu regularly depending on the available ingredients.

Not only do they have a full and delicious menu, but you will find a full selection of wines, cocktails, and martinis. If you like adventurous dishes, you’ll find examples like quail with grits and oxtail wontons. You won’t find these types of dishes at other places to eat in 30A, but don’t worry, you’ll find simple dishes like filet mignon with mashed potatoes and iceberg salads.
